It sounds great but the words that go along with the icons are the same color as the background. I can’t make in app purchases to get alternate routes. It won’t calculate the price using my transponder type. Not up to today’s standard for tech of this nature. All in all it’s pretty much useless when I need it to calculate expenses to write up an invoice before leaving for a job.

Even one star is too much. Basically a pointless app that doesn’t calculate tolls.

If the “from” and “to” boxes won’t accept input but stay stuck on “current location” then the app is destined to be deleted

Love this app

It NEVER recognizes a destination. Since it doesn’t,It is impossible to use. Such a waste of time trying to figure it out. There are noInstructions, guidelines, and the help menu, if that is what you want to call it it, I’d befuddling to say the least.The only thing I can say in a positive nature is that the app is free and can be deleted.

I don’t need to calculate alternate roots I just need to track the toll I pass through becomes NJ EZ pass is a pain. Well it stopped adding up my tolls one day. Sorry toll smart the GWB isn’t free.

Some basic interactions are not intuitive to use (1) the address auto-fill in the input field, which causes manual work for users to type addresses on their own. (2) the “Calculate Route” tab on tab bar is redundant yet still interactive, i’d suggest to not show it unless both locations are filled. (3) Some tabs in the menu panel do not work, for example, users might have no idea after they tap “Cancel”.

Not usable at all. When you locate yourself you have to spell every word in your address carefully, they don’t give you auto prompt to fill up address. This is so lame. Don’t use this product it will give you a major headache. The worst thing is that it doesn’t calculate the fastest routes. A total waste of time.

When I first download the app I thought it will be good but once I purchase 3 of their different subscriptions types which I think is kind of like a rip off.. The app seems to be pretty confusing he doesn’t specify which routes charge the most or cheaper. It’s all scramble hard to understand

This app is good, but i have 2 problems with it. 1st is using navigation on background no matter if you use the app, it’s killing my battery during the night if i forget to change my phone in full. 2nd- i tried to unsubscribe but it still charging me monthly fee. It’s saying that auto-renewal can be turned off from account settings, but this app doesn’t have settings.

Do not pay for any of the upgrades in this app! I’m angry because I paid for the upgrade, I clicked on it, the payment went through and no other routes appeared. Down at the bottom of the screen it said that there was an alternate route that only took eight more minutes and cost half the money but the only way I can get it is if I pay for the upgrade. I paid for the upgrade and it said that it would restore automatically and nothing happened. The app works great if you’re just trying to figure out one way to get to your destination and you don’t want to try and find any other alternate routes.

Paid for update to get alt routes. Cannot. When I touch link to get alt routes it just says I can do this if I pay for the upgrade and becomes a vicious circle. Today I was using it and it keeps saying I ne d to put in a destination - I did. It is there. But app doesn’t see it. No checkmark by destination address, just a red x. And the address is one I use frequently on the app and never had a problem

In a desire to maximize income the developers have created a product with very limited functionality and, given the lack of response to a number of messages, haven't invested in customer service either. The product advertised at the price is not what you receive - buyer beware. UPDATE 14Apr: Thank you for your response. My point, which you have overlooked, is that per my (still unanswered) emails to you, if you have a 2 axle trailer the product does not calculate tolls unless you purchase the commercial version - this was not made clear when I purchased the product.

Won’t even expect a valid address.

I paid for this app with all its benefits, and then all of a sudden the app is asking for more money to do the same things I paid for!

Incredibly useful app shows toll costs alongside driving time and distance and alternate routes with cheaper tolls. My go to app now whenever I drive to NY or anywhere in the Northeast US.

This app does not calculate tolls unless you pay $2.99 for the upgrade-- for alternate routes. It only calculates for the one route it chooses for you. If that route has nontoll and toll options, you cannot get the toll options without the upgrade. Since it's the only thing I wanted I deleted immediately. I don't like being deceived.

This app cannot be trusted. seems to have no idea of how many tolls you have to go through in the NY/NJ area and tells me my route will have $0 tolls even though just 1 of the bridges you have to go through costs $15 (Bayonne Bridge) In other words this app will cost you dearly if you use it. What a joke.

I like how the latest update says it’s now free. Sure, the app is free. But you can use it unless you subscribe. Really sneaky company - stay away.

I paid 4 dollars for the "set vehicle" option and it only has an option to add a single axle for a trailer. Not helpful at all, and I'll be damned if I'm going to take a chance and hand them another 3 or 4 dollars.

App is good. Tells you the toll Locations, where you take a ticket, and the resulting cost.

Got the app to see how much I'd spend in tolls, which it did, however it doesn't show more than one route (for my trip anyway) otherwise when pulled up on a gps app it gives you multiple routes. So I wanted to know what the cheapest route was based on tolls but it only showed one.

I mean really. I got this app thinking it would be great to know how many tolls there will be and what the overall cost would be for the tolls. And so we have an RV so I wasn't to happy at the fact you had to purchase extra to get toll info on RVs, but hey I get it they need to make money somehow. But I didn't this such a highly advertised app that had some great reviews would rip people off. You pay like $3-4 in order to receive incorrect information. I bought the add on in order to get the information on RVs just to discover that they just put the same exact pricing as a regular 2-axle car. Like one would think that for such a price you would actually get the correct information. Needless to say this app did not meet the standards it gave itself.

I went for the trial for commercial vehicle but could not get app to configure a class 8 5 axle truck - could have been my fault but the rate they gave me for a 4 axle truck was the same rate the four wheeler brought up. To unsubscribe or quit the trial use the purchase confirmation email from the App Store. Hey, there is no other way to cancel..,. Makes me doubtful of the app when it's setup to be so difficult to cancel.

Useless

Didn't it find it worth the trial and keep getting charged $2.99 despite trying to cancel numerous times. They make it very difficult to cancel. Still getting charged over a month after cancelling.

I've been using Tollsmart for my dog transport business and the website and app help me to provide accurate quotes to customers. I can also optimize routes to avoid/minimize tolls. Well worth the subscription.

Tried doing this by hand and it was an absolute nightmare. So glad I found this app as it calculates the tolls anywhere in seconds. I live in area full of tolls and so have been using it on a regular basis and it's been dead on every time.

I want my money back! Please! I was on a website that calculated my gas for my long trip and the it told me to download the app. So I did, but this app has absolutely nothing to do with the web application. This is most definitely a scam. Apple need to look into this apps that hook you into thinking your getting something your not. And I hear what it actually does it doesn't because on top of what you paid for the app your still have to pay more 😂😂. Man did I fall in the this sucker scam. Fool me once, I guess.

I'm using this for NYC trips to upstate NY. You are missing tolls in the most obvious places like going from Brooklyn to Staten Island toll, and many others.

This app is not designed for trucks why would they say it is for trucks

The application is cool however if you have a commercial vehicle with more than two axles you must have a subscription which cost another four dollars a month I believe so just be aware of the fine print.

You pay $3.99 for the app and then you have to subscribe to get alternate routes? I should've paid the $2 on the website.

App only good if you drive a car not good for truck drivers app requires to pay to change any settings

Does everything I need it to do. The "Alternate routes" feature is necessary to get the most from this app. It was a free upgrade at the time I downloaded, hope it stays that way for future users.

This is a great app if you are willing to travel the only route available in the app. If you want a set of alternatives, you have to pay extra :/ If you know which alternative you want, you can attempt to place "via-points" (pins) to coax the system to find the route you want, but sometimes this turns the computation into a complex mess. Also, I found at least one error in the toll computation. Hopefully these issues will improve in future updates.

Finally an app that calculates your tolls, where have you been all my life..... Every Time i traveled i tried to google the cost of tolls and to no avail i could never find accurate information, until now. Found this app witch is 100% accurate cause i compared the toll rates with the rates on my last EZPASS transactions and its the same LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT and at fair price for the app you gotta have it!!!

No idea why Google maps doesn't give you this information since the can tell you if your on a toll road or not, but this is incredibly helpful to know how much tolls will cost before driving somewhere, especially when I need to expense them when I travel for work.

It's a rip off. It won't set up alternate routes unless you pay. It does not have a good library of sites.

Well i didn't read everything as i should've. I wanted to calculate tolls when my car is towing my trailer. That requires a $2.99 monthly subscription. I only use it here and there. I wish there was a flat rate. No reason to pay that monthly if only using maybe a couple of times a month. Its a waist of money. App is 3 bucks plus another 3 to unlock other features plus 3 montly. Maybe you guys could give like 5 searches a month for free for trucks, RV, commercial vehicles and trailers

Completely inaccurate information.. Said tolls to Bordentown NJ were $10.61when in fact tolls were over $23.00 resulting in overcharges from E-Z pass!! Save your money and time

I entered address and it's tell me route not possible and I have no network but it's shows where I am. I regret spending my money on this app. Would had paid $6 if it had worked properly. Buyers beware!

The ad said this app would be free through Easter Sunday. Well I still got charged. It was the only thing I could find regarding tolls for a long trip too so I took that leap. Now I'm left feeling robbed in two ways. Paid for an app I didn't think I'd have to pay for and the info it gave me I felt was incomplete. I know one state has lots of tolls, yet the app only shows about 5 up in different states. Kinda wishing we had just held off on the app and went on a hope and a prayer for this trip.
